 Dr. Zdravka Demerdjieva - Department Chief

Dr. Dencheva graduated from the Sofia Medical University in 1996, and received her specialization in dermatology and venerology in 2001. A year after receiving her specialization, she successfully defended her PhD doctorate dissertation on the theme “Syphilis and Pregnancy”. She worked for five years in the Sofia Medical academy, after which she worked with international non governmental organizations upon sexual health projects. In 2004 until 2005, she was a team member of the National Health Ministry’s program for prevention and control of HIV and AIDS. Before she joined our team, she worked in the dermatology department of the university general hospital Alexsandrova.

Dr. Popova graduated from the Sofia Medical University in 1996, and received her specialization in dermatology and venerology from the Sofia Skin Clinic in 2004. Since then, she has earned over five years of experience in the diagnostics and surgical treatment of cancerous skin growths. She also has two years of experience from working in a plastic surgery clinic in Israel. She has been a member of our hospital since the opening. 

Dr. Todor Petkov

He was born on the 5^th Аugust 1976 in Sofia. He finished his high-school education in First English Language School in 1995. The same year he was admitted in the Medical University – Sofia. He graduated the Medical University – Sofia with masters degree in medicine in 2001. In 2003 he was enrolled as PhD student in the Department of Dermatology and Venereology, Medical University – Sofia. In 2008 after successful exams he received his diploma for specialist in the field of dermatology and venereology. He works in Tokuda Hospital – Sofia JSC since March 2009. There is upcoming approval of his PhD thesis.
