Our pediatric clinic is the only place in Bulgaria which offers the latest diagnostic techniques for gastroesphogeal reflux disease among children. The examination is conducted under hospital conditions and is covered by the Bulgarian National Health Insurance Fund.

The examination methodology is non-invasive and provides very precise and rapid diagnostic results. The testing method has been designed to be very gentle for children, and it doesn’t require x-rays or the administration of general anesthesia. The method is suitable for children of all age groups, and is also applicable for children with bronchial asthma, serious neurological developmental heath defects and other health conditions.

Our department conducts functional testing and examinations for diseases of the respiratory, secretory and endocrine systems and numerous highly specialized procedures such as:

• Upper and lower gastrointestinal tract endoscopy
• Kidney and lung biopsies
• Small intestine aspiration biopsies
• Electromyography

We also provide a full range of medical imaging examinations including: ultrasound, transfontanel echography, and MRIs.

Our department has 32 hospital beds, 11 of which are VIP private rooms and two apartment styled Deluxe hospital rooms. In every hospital room, we offer the option and accommodations for a loved one or companion to stay with the hospitalized child.
