Our out-patient offices provide ambulatory medical services and consists of 2 diagnostic rooms and one physician’s office for conducting minor medical treatments and procedures.  

Our department consists of seven doctors, and 18 nurses, and we have a contract to accept patients from the Bulgarian National Health Insurance Fund. We also accept patients from international insurance companies and cash patients as well.  
 

We offer functional testing, imaging diagnostics and preventative programs: 

• Atherosclerosis screening: Ankle-Brachial Pressure Index (ABPI) measurement, ultrasonic assessment of endothelial function and intima-media thickness measurements  
• 2-Dimensional ultrasound examination of vascular structures with Color Doppler Duplex sonography:
• Peripheral, cerebral, renal vessels and abdominal aorta examinations
• Doppler Duplex sonography to thoroughly assess chronic venous insufficiency and varicose veins of  the lower limbs  
• Minimally invasive medical imaging contrasting methods to analyze arterial and venous status

Our department has been equipped with the latest generation of medical equipment to diagnose vascular diseases including:

• Echo-Doppler GE Vivid 7.0
• Transcranial Doppler
• Apparatus to measure evoked brain stem potentials during operations on the extracranial cerebral vessels
• C-arm X-ray machine for intraoperative diagnostic and endovascular procedures
• 64-multidetector computer tomography
• 2 GE equipped Angiography Laboratories
