Clinical Microbiology

The main goal of our clinical microbiological laboratory is to improve the health and quality of life of our patients by applying the latest good laboratory practices.

Our microbiology diagnostics accurately establish which microbes are responsible for the health condition which allows us to determine what antibiotic treatment would be most effective. This approach has a rapid and maximized treatment effect on the patient’s infection, which prevents our patients from being subjected to unnecessary and inadequate antibiotic therapies which can negatively affect one’s health and add unneeded medical costs.

We work with contemporary equipment to ensure the accurate identification and antibiograms to isolate infection causes including: Crystal, BBL, Merlin, and Merck.

Our laboratory is quality certified by an external quality audit system.
