Environmental / Occupational Health and Safety Policy of Acıbadem City Clinic

Acıbadem City Clinic fulfils its tasks with a quality service principle in accordance with its mission and vision while at the same time keeping an environmentally friendly and responsible attitude.

To this end, the Group:

  • Fulfils all Environmental / Occupational Health and Safety related requirements as per the JCI standards while complying with all local and national environmental laws and legislations, international standards and good industrial practices in the communities where we work.
  • Develops a culture of Operational and HSSE Excellence.
  • Identifies and manages environmental and occupational health and safety risks.
  • Identifies wastes generated by all health institutions as a result of their activity as the primary target and creates a waste management plan specifically tailored for each individual institution in order to dispose the waste in a manner that does not threaten the health of patients-personnel.
  • Works to minimize the amount of waste and separates recyclable waste in accordance with this plan.
  • Delivers the non-recyclable waste to relevant institutions for their disposal according to laws and legislations.
  • Raise awareness among employees and suppliers on environmental issues and establish a culture of occupational safety based on their individual responsibilities.
  • Gives priority to occupational health and safety to establish incident-free work places and systems to minimize loss and damage in the event of any emergency.
