In the gastroenterology and hepatology sector is supported by the fully functional endoscopic diagnostic center which is equipped with the latest generation of Olympus to examine the upper and lower digestive tracts and to perform therapeutic procedures such as: endoscopic hemostasis, hemorrhoid treatment, foreign body removal, interventional treatment methods of billary-hepatic and pancreatic diseases.
The department offers the most contemporary treatment and diagnostic methods of medical issues of the stomach and esophagus. The gastroenterology sector has an additional dietician office which consults with patients to design individualized diet plans based on the type of medical issues and the patients’ condition.
Endoscopic Equipment
The gastroenterology and hepatology sector is supported by a dedicated endoscopy center equipped with the latest generation of “Olympus” endoscopic equipment for examinations of the upper and lower digestive systems. The endoscopy center has 4 separate rooms to conduct endoscopic gastroenterological and pulmonary procedures.
All of internal disease specialty sectors are supported by an echography center with cutting edge General Electric ultrasound equipment to conduct conventional and Doppler diagnostics.
