Dr. Emilia Alova - Laboratory Chief
Dr. Alova graduated from medical university in 1986 from the Sofia Medical University, after which she began working as a radiologist in the Svoge regional hospital. In 1990, she was hired to work in the Transfusion Hematology Center in the Military Medical Academy, where she earned 16 years of professional experience. In 2003, she recieved her specialization in transfusion hematology, and in 2006 she was invited to join our team. In 2007, she was appointed laboratory chief of Tokuda Hospital Sofia's hematology transfusion laboratory.
Dr. Polya Mincheva
Dr. Pencheva graduated from the Plevin Medical University in 1990, and received her specialization in transfusion hematology in 1998. She worked as a scientific associate in the Transfusion Hematology Center in the Military Medical Academy during 1992-2006. She has been a member of our team since March 2007, and has earned additional qualifications in public health management.
Head Laboratory Technician- Rositza Taneva
Head lab technician Mrs. Taneva graduated from the Yordanka Filaretova Medical College of the Sofia Medical University in 1988. She also has a bachelor’s degree in health care management from the Sofia University Faculty of Public Health. She earned 15 years of professional experience in the Transfusion Hematology Center of the Military Medical Academy. Mrs. Taneva has been a member of our blood bank laboratory team since our hospital opening. She has completed additional qualification courses in immunohematology and isoserology.
