Tokuda

The in-patient ward of the department is located on the fourth floor of the hospital and has twelve beds including 4 bed rooms, private rooms, and apartment styled rooms. During the patient’s stay, they can take full advantage of our accommodation hotel extra options including cable TV, wireless internet, and an extra bed for companion to join the patient during his/her stay, and 24 hour access to our individual nurse station or doctor’s office.

In the field of abdominal and general surgery the department offers: diagnostic procedures and laparoscopic operations on the esophagus and stomach, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), large and small intestine, gall bladder and biliary tract, liver, all types of hernia, diseases of the spleen, weight loss bariatric surgery (operations for obesity), modern diagnosis and treatment for diseases of the anorectum including fissures, fistula, hemorrhoids, and rectal prolapse.

In the area of emergency surgery the department offers: diagnosis and operations for acute appendicitis, ulcer perforations, spleen perforations, and abdominal trauma.

In the field of gynecology the department offers: laparoscopic diagnostic and laparoscopic procedures for infertility and gynecological diseases, cystectomy, salpingectomy, myomectomy, and tubal pregnancy interventions.

In the field of urology the department offers: diagnostic procedures and operations for tumors and cysts of the kidneys and adrenal glands, ureter obstructions, endoscopic procedures for varicoele.
