Hemodialysis

The department works in two shifts schedule

For the convenience of our patients is disclosed third evening shift at 18.30 pm.

The department has 22 stationary hemodialysis machines latest models of Nipro with VCS modules for precise control of ultrafiltration. This system allows individualization of body weight according to the clinical situation of each individual patient

Water purification is done with modern equipment for duplicate reverse osmosis. Central mixing system delivers dialysis fluid to every individual post. Technological procedures are performed in a separate room, thus ensuring complete peace and comfort of patients in the dialysis center.

Each dialysis post is equipped with fully automated bed, color television monitor and cable TV. Available are  smaller rooms and three individual rooms for conducting hemodialysis in patients requiring special care. Dialysis rooms are setted with Wi-Fi coverage, which allows free internet access during dialysis. Cares for our patients are deliverd by highly qualified doctors, nurses and engineers specializing in Japan.

The department also has one mobile hemodialysis unit, machine for hemodiafiltratsiya оn-line, an apparatus for plasmapheresis Haemonetics and 5 sets for continuous renal replacement therapy resuscitation.

The department offers nephrology consultation, treatment  and monitoring of patients with advanced CKD / chronic renal failure / and those on hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis.

Within the Tokuda Hospital Sofia, dialysis center works closely with modern nephrology room, high tech urology, vascular surgeons with great experience, a 24-hour hospice. This closes the full cycle of therapy and our hospital becomes a modern clinical center for comprehensive treatment of patients with chronic renal insufficiency and concomitant diseases.
