Graduated in medicine at Medical University Sofia in 1984, obtained a two specialites in internal medicine and nephrology.

- 1992 England, Portsmouth - a basic course of dialysis;

- 1993 Brussels, Belgium - three months specializing in kidney transplant program Tempus

- 1999 Sweden, Stockholm - Biannual specialization in conjunction with dissertation topic after a competition of the Ministry of Health,

- 2002 Salzburg, Austria - course of Cardiology;

- 2002 Paris, France Hospital Saint-Louis - renal transplantation;

- 2005 Japan, Tokushukai Medical Corporation - Course on dialysis

Member of the European Dialysis and Transplant Association, the Bulgarian Society of Nephrology and the National Association of Dialysis professionals in Bulgaria.
