Dr. Atanas Radinoff- department chief

Dr. Radinoff graduated from the Varna Medical University in 1988, and he has earned dual specializations: in internal medicine and clinical hematology.

He worked for fourteen years as the director of the immunology laboratory and chief resident of the hematology and oncology department of the Military Medical Academy. He has also earned medical specializations in Antwerpen, Belgium and in London as well.

Dr. Radinoff has been a member of our team since we began serving the public as the radiology sector chief of our internal medicine department, he was appointed to lead our expanded hematology department in October 2008.

                                                          

Dr. Krasimir Oreshkov

Dr. Oreshkov graduated from the Sofia Medical University in 1990, and earned his specialization in internal medicine and received his oncology specialization in France. He worked in the Lung Disease Institute of the specialized Sveta Sofia Hospital in the Emergency and Intensive Lung Therapy Clinic.

In 1998, he began working in the Intensive Cardiology Clinic of the Fifth Municipal Hospital, and in the end of 1999 he left the country to specialize in France. He successfully defended his specialization in medical oncology in the Nantes University Hospital.

Dr. Oreshkov completed post graduate medical coursework in cellular and tissue bio-therapies, and he is an active member of the Bulgarian Oncology Society. Dr. Oreshkov has been a member of our team since April 2007.

   

Dr. Tanya Popova  

Dr. Popova graduated from the Varna Medical University in 1988, and she has earned  specializations in internal medicine and clinical hematology.

She worked for eighteen years as in the Military Medical Academy: 3 years in the Emergency and Intensive Care Clinic and 15 years in the Hematology and Oncology Clinic in which the last five years of her tenure she lead the department. Dr. Popova joined our newly expanded hematology department in October 2008 .

 

Dr. Nina Vasileva

Dr. Vasileva graduated form the Military Medical Institute Stara Zagora in 1991, in the first five years of her medical career she worked in the Internal medicine department of the regional hospital in Sliven, Bulgaria. In 1997, she received her internal medicine specialization and in 1998-2000 she earned her specialization in clinical hematology in the National Clinical and Transfusion Hematology Center in Sofia.

Between 2000-2005, Dr. Vasileva lead the Therapeutic Apheresis, and since 2005 she worked in the hemopoetic stem cell transplant department of the National Clinical and Transfusion Hematology Center in Sofia. She joined our team in January 2009.

Dr. Ismail Amin  

Dr. Amin graduated form the Military Medical Institute Plovdiv in 1992, and in 1996 he received his internal medicine specialization.  In 1997-1999 he earned his specialization in clinical hematology in the University Hospital Aleksandrova and the National Clinical and Transfusion Hematology Center in Sofia.

Between 2001-2002, Dr. Amin worked in the University Hospital Aleksandrova in the clinical hematology clinic and in 2004 he worked in the National Clinical and Transfusion Hematology Center clinical hematology department. He joined our team in April 2009.   

 

Dr. Irena Gulubova

Dr. Gulubova graduated from the Sofia Medical Academy in 1985, and received her internal medicine specialization in 1991, and added her specialization in clinical hematology in 1996.

She worked in the Regional Hospital Dupnitsa from 1985 to 1988, after which she worked in the Dr. Ralcho Angelov Sofia Regional  Hospital in the internal medicine department hematology sector from 1988-1996.

Dr. Gulubova began working in the National Clinical and Transfusion Hematology Center in 1996, until she joined our team in July 2009.   

 

Dr. Petar Kulaksuzov  

Dr. Kulaksuzov graduated from the Sofia Medical Academy in 1980, and received his internal medicine specialization in 1989, and added his specialization in clinical hematology in 1991. He worked as a resident in the Regional Hospital Montana from 1983 to 1986.

From 1986 to 2009,  he worked in the National Clinical and Transfusion Hematology Center clinical and transfusion hematology department where he became a Class I Senior Scientific Associate.  Dr. Kulaksuzov joined our department team in May 2009.  

  

 

Albena Yordanova- head nurse

Head Nurse Yordanova graduated from the Sofia Medical College Yordanka Filaretova in 1983, she has a bachelor’s degree in social pedagogy and a master’s degree in social work from the Sofia Univeristy Sveti Kliment Ohridski. At the moment she is pursuing an additional degree in the Sofia University Public Health Faculty in nursing care management.

Nurse Yordanova has twenty years of professional experience from the Fifth Generla Hospital as a head nurse in the nephrology department and rheumatology sector.

She began working with our team when we opened to serve the public as the head nurse of our internal medicine department, and since October 2008 she has lead the nursing staff of our new hematology department.
