If your health status requires in-patient care and hospital admittance, our local registration staff can schedule your treatment stay with us. Our staff will inform you about our medical service package prices, doctor’s fees, room upgrades, medical products, or service upgrades so that they can provide you with a medical service quote.

Our patients can be admitted for in-patient care after being referred by a specialist from our medical center in the following three ways:

  1. If you are a Bulgarian Citizen covered by the NHIF please provide us with Referral №3 (hospitalization specialist consultation) from your GP or specialist. To ensure your safety and control medical quality, we do not accept any hospitalization Referral №7 from any specialists or medical centers other than Tokuda Medical Center. We strictly enforce this policy to protect our patients and ensure high quality medical care.
  2. If you are un-insured, we still require a hospitalization examination referral from our medical center to ensure your safety and deliver quality medical care. In terms of medical costs, we will provide you with a medical service price quote according to our medical package services price list. Our price list is publically available and the same for all our patients and partners.
  3. If you have international insurance, we still require a hospitalization examination referral from our medical center to ensure your safety and deliver quality medical care. Please inform our staff before your medical care and contact your insurance company*

In terms of medical costs, we will provide you with a medical service price quote according to our medical package services price list. Our price list is publically available and the same for all our patients and partners. Please inform our staff during your first visit with us and contact your insurance company*

*If you plan on using your international insurance, we strongly recommend that you contact your insurance company to ask about your policy specifics, and ask what steps are needed to cover your medical charges. We can assist you with your insurance company, but contact them as early as possible to be sure that your policy requirements are covered to avoid any charges being charged directly to you.
