Dr. Drenski was appointed CEO of Tokuda Hospital Sofia on January 01, 2011. He has been a management team member of our hospital since its inception and served as our Administrative Director from 2005 to 2009, and as our Medical Director from 2010 to 2011.
Dr. Drenski graduated from the Sofia Medical University in 1992, and continued his medical education specializing in obstetrics and gynecology. He worked as a specialist physician for 8 years, 3 of which he worked as a doctor in Libya.
Dr. Drenski received his master’s degree in Health Care Management in 2009, and earned a masters degree in finance in 2003. He has also completed numerous specialization programs in health care management and health care finance. He has received specialization training in the USA, Switzerland, Hungary, the United Kingdom, Japan, and other countries.
During the period of 2000-2005, Dr. Drenski was an international health care consultant working for global corporations such as Bearing Point, USA; 3M; Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu and others. In 2002-2004, Dr, Drenski was the “Hospital Services” Chief of the Bulgarian National Health Insurance Fund.
Dr. Simeonov received his medical degree in 1993 from the Sofia Medical University located in Sofia, Bulgaria. He began practicing medicine in the Anesthesiology and Intensive care unit (ICU) of the general hospital Sveta Anna in Sofia, Bulgaria and continued his medical education receiving a specialization in Anesthesiology and Intensive Care in 1998. He has earned additional specializations in pediatric anesthesiology, intravenous and feeding tube mixed nourishment programs, local and regional anesthesia and pain blocking methods.
His career as in our hospital began as the director of the “Anesthesiology and Intensive Care”, in 2006. In 2007, he completed a course in Japanese Pain Treatment Methodology, as well as participated in a professional experience exchange program with the hospitals of the Tokushukai medical corporation. He is a member of the “European Association of Anesthesiologists”
Head nurse Gancheva graduated from the Yordanka Filaretova Medical College in 1986 with a general nursing degree. She received a bachelor’s degree in nursing management and is pursuing her master’s degree in nursing management in the Public Health Faculty of the Sofia University. Nurse Gancheva has participated in experience exchange programs in Japan and the UK, and has earned post graduate qualifications in public health management and workplace conflict management.
She is an active member of the Bulgarian Association Nursing professionals and regularly presents reports on recruiting, managing, and developing nursing staff. From 1986 to 2006, she worked in the Fifth General Hospital and has over 20 years of professional experience as a urology nurse. In 1997, she was promoted as the head nurse of the Urology department in the general hospital. She began her career with THS in 2006, when she was appointed as the Chief Nurse of Tokuda Hospital Sofia.
