Prof. Zdravka Demerdjieva, MD, PhD, Dermatology and Venereology Clinic Chief Assoc. Prof. Demerdjieva has graduated Medicine in 1992 from Medical University Sofia. She acquired Dermatology and Venereology specialty in 1997. In 2007 she defended PhD degree - Doctor of Medical science. She worked 17 years in University Hospital Alexandrovska as a chief children consultation room in the Department of Dermatology and Venereology. Since 2010 she is part of Tokuda Hospital Sofia team, where she is Department chief after winning a work contest.
Assoc. Prof. Demerdjieva has specialized Children Dermatology in Manchester, UK in 2006. She has numerous participations in national and foreign conferences and simposiums. She a laureate of the award of the 10th Jubilee National Conference of General Practitioners and Pediatricians, as well as the Poster Session award from EADV - Rhodos in 2002.
Prof. Nikolai Tzankov, MD, PhD, DSc, Dermatology and Venereology Clinic Consultant Consultant of the Dermatology and Venereology Clinic in Tokuda Hospital Sofia. Member of Faculty Council of the Medical Faculty in the Medical University Sofia. Corresponding member of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.

On April 11th 2014 during the 20th Congress of the Czech Academy of Dermatology, at a celebration ceremony in the Charles University Aula, prof. Tzankov was awarded honorary membership to the Czech Academy of Dermatology. This is the 14th honorary membership in a row for Prof. Nikolai Tzankov in Dermatologic Societies and Academies in Europe and USA.
Dr. Ludmila Popova, MD, Dermatologist and Venereologist Dr. Popova graduated from the Sofia Medical University in 1996, and received her specialization in dermatology and venerology from the Sofia Skin Clinic in 2004. Since then, she has earned over five years of experience in the diagnostics and surgical treatment of cancerous skin growths. She also has two years of experience from working in a plastic surgery clinic in Israel. She has been a member of our hospital since the opening.
Assoc. Prof. Razvigor Darlenski, MD, PhD, Dermatologist and Venereologist Dr. Razvigor Darlenski is born in 1980 in Dobrich. He graduated with excellence from Medical University Sofia in 2005. He specialized in the Department of Skin and Venereology Diseases in Sofia. In 2010 he acquired Dermatology and Venereology specialty. In 2010 he defended dissertation on the topic 'Clinical Experimental researches for the role of epidermal barrier in the contact supersensitivity and irritation of skin' and acquired PhD science degree - Doctor of Medicine.
He has specialized in University Hospital for Skin Diseases in LMU - Munich, Germany (2010), University Clinic for Dermatology and Allergology - Charite, Berlin, Germany (2007 - 2008), University Clinic for Dermatology and Allergology - Scwabing, Munich, Germany (2004).
He is a member of Bulgarian Dermatology Union, European Academy for Dermatology and Venereology, European Society for Allergology and Clinical Immunology, European Society for Allergology, International society for Pharmacology and Physiology of the Skin. European Society for Contact Dermatitis, Bulgarian Scientists' Union, National Bulgarian Society for Aestetic Surgery and Aesthetic Medicine.
Dr. Darlenski has science interests in the area of alergic skin reactions and diseases, eczema, atopic dermatitis, syndrome of sensitive skin, skin manifestations of internal diseases and medication skin reactions and adverse reactions from cosmetics.
Ivan Bogdanov, MD, PhD, Dermatologist and Venereologist He graduated first cycle of medical education in University "Joseph Fourier" - Grenoble, France in 2000. In 2006 he graduated medicince from Medical University Sofia. In 2013 Dr. Bogdanov acquired scientific degree Doctor of Medicine from Medical University Sofia with dissertation thesis: "Combined Climatotreatment method in psoriasis therapy". He was a resident of the Dermatology and Venereology Clinic of Tokuda Hospital Sofia from 2010. He specialized in the University Hospital Saint Louis - Paris and London Clinic, UK. In 2014 he acquired Dermatology and Venereology specialty. From 2006 to 2008 he worked as a volunteer in the Skin and Venereal Diseases Clinic of Alexandrovska University Hospital. Dr. Bogdanov was a regular doctorate student in the Medical University - Sofia from 2009 to 2011. He is part of the Dermatology and Venerology Clinic of Tokuda Hospital Sofia Since 2010. He is chairman of "Psoriasis Foundation" since 2010. The hospital has a parking lot for patients and visitors. The first 30 min. are free of charge, every next hour is 3BGN/hrs.
IMPORTANT! Have in mind that the parking lot is very busy Monday to Friday between 10.00 and 14.00. The hospital team will appreciate if those whose health condition allow, take the drop off option without parking or use other transport means or alternative parking lots in the area.

Metro lines: You can get off at James Bourchier or Vitosha metro station and walk to the hospital.


From the Central Railway Station

Bus: take bus #305 and get off at Romanian Embassy stop, then transfer to bus #120 to Tokuda Hospital stop.

Metro: Take metro line Nadezda-Lozenetz and get off either at James Bourchier or Vitosha metro station, then walk to the hospital.
