Assoc. Prof. Alexander Osichenko, MD, PhD, Hemodialisys Dept. Chief Assoc. Prof. Osichenko graduated medicine from Medical University Sofia in 1984. He has two specialties: Internal Medicine and Nephrology.

He has numerous specializations in Bulgaria and abroad:
1992 England, Portsmouth - a basic course of dialysis;
1993 Brussels, Belgium - three months specializing in kidney transplant program Tempus
1999 Sweden, Stockholm - Biannual specialization in conjunction with dissertation topic after a competition in the Ministry of Health,
2002 Salzburg, Austria - course in Cardiology;
2002 Paris, France Hospital Saint-Louis - renal transplantation;
2005 Japan, Tokushukai Medical Corporation - Course in dialysis.

Member of the European Dialysis and Transplant Association, the Bulgarian Society of Nephrology and the National Association of Dialysis professionals in Bulgaria.
