Tokuda Hospital Sofia

The MRI at Tokuda Hospital is now working on Sundays, too

12 december 2017

The new working hours shall facilitate the patients in active working age who have business engagements on weekdays

The Diagnostic Imaging Dept. of Acibadem City Clinic Tokuda Hospital has started carrying out magnetic resonance imaging examinations of scheduled patients on Sundays, too. The change in the working hours aims to facilitate those patients whose condition is not urgent, and does not require hospital admission. “People who are busy throughout the week postpone their examination since they cannot find time suitable for it. Thus, there is a risk their disease may further develop or worsen. By changing the working hours, we can welcome those who have engagements during the weekdays, or have young children or elderly parents and often need to neglect their health care needs”, added Prof. Kirova.

Examinations and consultations at the Diagnostic Imaging Dept. must be booked in advance – by calling the Registration Desk of the Department - +359 (2) 03 4920. Results and readings are provided 2-24 hours after the examination – depending on the complexity of the image processing, and are accessible online. If requested in advance, patient’s results may be sent to a designated address/location by post, too.
