Breast Lifting

Most often women interested in this procedure are happy with the size of their breasts, however they are not satisfied with the firmness of their breasts or they are concerned about the tendency of the nipples to point downwards.

Commonly the causes of such deformations are caused by a loss of skin elasticity, due to drastic diets, pregnancy, nursing, or simply a result of the natural process of aging.

The bust lifting procedure aims to restore the overall form of the breasts, which involves removing excess skin tissue and repositioning the nipple with the goal to achieve a youthful breast appearance.  In some cases, implants can be recommended to restore the breast volume to maximize aesthetic results.

Performing this procedure will not affect any future breastfeeding, even if the procedure is performed before delivery. The operation is performed under general anesthesia, and in a specialized operation theatre. The required hospital stay is determined by the overall patient condition, but typically it is relativity short.

Typically the normal recovery period of is approximately one to two weeks, after which patients are able to return to work.

Post procedural tension and symptoms normally disappear after approximately one month, and the scars typically fade completely within a period of several months to a year.
